Multiple Teams · Indoor Contests to Accommodate 2 Spectators

Great News for Families of Basketball, Volleyball, Wrestling, and STUNT Cheer student-athletes:  Beginning Monday, March 29, two spectators per student-athlete will be allowed into the gym for contests at all three CVUSD high schools.  Here are some points to remember:

  1. Spectators must wear a mask at all times and maintain social distancing.  Spectators will sit where there is blue painters tape. Each game will have a predetermined seating area to eliminate the need to disinfect the bleachers between games.
  2. A maximum of two (2) immediate household members per athlete will be allowed into contests.  This will be strictly enforced. Spectators will not be screened for temperature or symptoms.
  3. General Admission will be $8 for both spectators, no matter the age. Admission will solely be done via online ticketing through (NOT .com). There will be no cash boxes or money taken at the event. Ticket must be redeemed at the gate by the ticket taker at the time of entry. We are not able to accept district I.D.s, CIF, league, military, senior or other passes in lieu of a purchased ticket. For more information go to
  4. All spectators will be let into the gym prior to their student-athlete’s contest and the gym will be cleared out immediately afterward. Family members who have two children playing on different levels only need to purchase tickets for the first contest, and will be readmitted for the second match.  Gate personnel will have rosters for both teams to verify.
    1. We ask that all spectators do their best to maintain social distancing while waiting outside the gym.
    2. Once all spectators have left the gym, the next group of spectators who have valid tickets will be allowed to enter.
  5. Bathrooms are located on the west end of the gym in the foyer. Bathrooms will be cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis and will be closed for a minimum of 15 minutes to allow for drying.
